NOTICE: all those missions starting by DIII New Story are part of an alternate complete different story of what you know when playing DIII the first time. It is not "new" in the sense "following DIII" but it's "new" in the sense "an alternate story in a parallel universe". Hence, every characters meet for the first time in different places and contexts, led by another plot between different protagonists having different roles than in the original DIII story.


John, Kate and Doc finally managed to enter Higgins's office, accompanied by their hostage O'Neill.
Doc wants an explanation about how his head was wanted the day after his job for McBane.
Higgins explains he doesn't have any idea how this got possible.
Same for O'Neill who denies doing anything wrong to McCoy, that he didn't even know McCoy before being kidnapped in Flagstone by the small gang. Also, he didn't know the ammo box he had put behind the saloon was for McCoy, because he was just obeying to the Mayor's orders.

The reward was posted by Judge McGain, but the men who went after McCoy in Baton Rouge had no links to the Judge.
So, the only lead remaining would be Big Ann, but she is nowhere to be found now in Flagstone.

Higgins insists he is not responsible of any treason towards McCoy, and as a proof of this, he was in fact anxious about what could happen to McCoy, because he needs him for another urgent task.
The bridge at Eagle Falls, who was built by the DeVitt Train Company, has just been destroyed and Higgins was expecting to pay McCoy to see who is responsible of that and to bring him the leader back to him.

"How much?" asks McCoy
Higgins replies, "McBane was 3000$. I'll give you 6000$ this time, for their leader, alive."
McCoy turns to John and Kate, offering them to join him, and saying that they will split equal.

Before leaving, Kate can't help but ask if Mayor Higgins is getting married soon.
Mayor Higgins replies that all this organisation is not for him, but for his friend Vincent DeVitt, who will get married here in 2 weeks.
Kate next adds, "And who's the lucky lady ?"
Higgins answers,"Emily McGain, the Judge's daughter"

Mission Briefing

John, Doc and Kate arrive at Eagle Falls, where the bridge was still standing several hours ago, on the east side of the river, after making their way through a small passage between the rocks.
They see that the whole gang is still there, now robbing a train.
But the leader of the gang is still close to the bridge, surrounded by quite a few tough guards.

Mission Objectives

Clear the area of every bandits and catch alive the leader of this gang that blew up the bridge: Wild Marge
Bring her alive to the train with John, Kate and Doc.

i tried do it without alarm, and without using the body, but once i reached the part where Wild Marge is i could't do it any further. So i started using the bodies and i made it without alarm. It was fun

Glad you found it fun, because it's the mission I liked the least ahah
but the location and the objective fit well in the story I was trying to make.

I don't see how you succeeded without alarm, the Wild Marge zone is for me very hardcode in silent mode. I'm confused :-S !

i just used bodies to lure one by one every possible guard (you can also do a train with bodies if you set them proprerly), using also coin to change the view cone of the guards that had a viewcone not optimal, and the group facing the train i used everyone to kill them at the same time.

I can't remember how i did it exactly since it was a long time ago, but i used 1 knife throw (if you throw the knife to someone that nobody is watching, by the time they turn around to follow the noise you have already shoot with everybody else, also cooper), 2 gun with cooper, gun with kate and gun with doc (with kate and doc you can also also melee attack if you time it), i don't remember how many they were, as of now i remember this.

Using the coin to change the viewcone and making the train with bodies you can basically move every guards (even ponche and long coat) wherever you want, and doing that you can take them out one by one pretty easily

I find it to easy using this method so i try not to use that much, but sometime is inevitable if you don't want any alarm

I saw in your comment about the guard on the platform usable to jump on the train, that one was a pain in the ***, i took a very long time, but i was able to shoot him down, as i said before i don't remember perfectly on howi did it, i can tell what i remember. I used kate to blind the long coat and a guard near him and cooper coin's to distract the guard near the haystack, and i think i was able to kill the guard walking on the train, since i remember that the guard walking was able to see body of the guard on the platform, and after that the guard on the platform. I am not sure if that is exactly how it went down, but sure as hell it was a thing of perfect position and dozen of try ( i am sadistic like that)

Done. Used a lot bodies to make guard close to me.
But arriving in the Wild Marge zone, I lost my patience. I triggered the alarm and went in trash mode... I don't see how CooperPooper succeeded without alarm... Did not like the mission then.
The guy on the train above the little bridge is a nightmare, no way to make him go down... But I discovered a little "bug". Using Doc's bag for him (and other guys), they focus the bag. Then, using Kate to blind them, I get back the bag, but the guy still focus on the zone where the bag was... It allowed me to get off them for some time before definitely killing them.

yes, there is this little bug with Doc's bag for enemy that I spawned into the map (guards and also dog)
When I did this map, I did not test it without alarm, so I understand it can be really hard to do so, considering there are quite a lot of guards around Wild Marge
