NOTICE: all those missions starting by DIII New Story are part of an alternate complete different story of what you know when playing DIII the first time. It is not "new" in the sense "following DIII" but it's "new" in the sense "an alternate story in a parallel universe". Hence, every characters meet for the first time in different places and contexts, led by another plot between different protagonists having different roles than in the original DIII story.

Story

Hector finally managed to get out of O'Hara's Ranch, thanks to the help given by John and McCoy.
Kate quickly joined them at the entrance of the ranch, where they have a talk all together.

Kate: So Hector, why does my uncle prevent you to leave the ranch ?
Hector: I owe him money
John: How is that possible, since you work for him ?
Hector: 3 weeks ago, he let us the workers have a night out in town. We went to the saloon, play cards and drink whiskey. I think I drank too much, and also bet too much.
Doc: You mean "lost too much"
Kate: How much did you lose ?
Hector: almost 500$
John: What? how ?
Hector: I started to bet things I don't own.
John: Like what ?
Hector: I don't really remember, I was half passed out. I may have bet things I see everyday, like guns, tools, bottles of alcohol, even cattle at one point I believe.
Kate: You're crazy Hector...
Hector: That's why he doesn't want me to leave the ranch until I pay him back with my work.
John: That's understandable. The good news is that, with what we are planning to do with your help now, you will be able to pay him back easily.
Hector: Where are we going ?
John: Eagle's Nest.
Hector: ohhh, interesting.
John: We're going to catch the current boss living there.
Hector: OK it sounds fun. What did he do to you to deserve that ?
Doc: To us ? Nothing. But Mayor Higgins of Flagstone will reward us 15000$ if we bring him alive.
Hector: So, why does Higgins want him ?
John: The bridge at Eagle's Falls was destoyed this morning, and it appears that it is this man who gave the order to do so. And since the bridge and station are owned by the DeVitt Train Company, in which Higgins has some interests with his friend Vincent DeVitt, he now wants us to bring this Frank guy to him.
Hector: Oh, Vincent DeVitt, my old friend, hehe. So, in a way, I'll be working for him, again, like old times.
Doc: You used to work for DeVitt ?
Hector: Yes. But he let me go after I cleaned his casa of looters one year and a half ago.
Doc: Oh, I see. But you didn't do this job all by yourself.
Hector: Humm, what do you mean ?
Doc: I was there too. I've been working for quite some time for Higgins, and I was offered 50$ for every looter I would kill at Casa DeVitt. He told me that Vincent had one man already on the job, but that some more help would be greatly appreciated. So Vincent asked Higgins to make me work for him this one time.
Hector: oh so, we worked together once already without knowing it. That's funny.
John: Yep. And now we should go, before the men in the ranch notice you're not there and start searching around.
Kate: Hurry ! I would not like my uncle to see we helped you escape
John: We go back in town, spend the night in a hotel, and tomorrow we will head to the Eagle's Nest. We should arrive there in 3 days.

Mission Briefing

After 3 days on road, by trains and horses, the gang arrives close to the fortress, on its east side.
The plan is simple, get everybody inside, by whatever means, knock out Frank and get him out alive.
Then, the gang will walk through the little village to take new fresh horses and follow the railroad to the closest station.

Mission Objectives

- Catch Frank alive
- Bring him to the regroup point outside of the village

There are no ammo boxes in the level, but everybody start the mission fully equipped.

Up to you

- Climb with John to get in the fortress and unfold the ladder for the others to get in
- Retrieve the crate of cannonballs in the camp to explode the main gate

Note

it was a really fun level to play without triggering an alarm and passing by the vines to unfold the ladder, and not using the canon.

Done.
I was pretty confused as their is only one way to get to the meeting point and I tried a wrong one, then I lost time !
Used the vine. No Alarm.
